June 30 RELATIONSHIPS The month of june has a lot of activities like weddings,family re-unions,graduations and a lot of family time,so i decided to write something about relationships.It can be complicated,frustrating,demanding and painful,it can also be wonderful,rewarding and even fulfilling.Is it wrong to set up standards for the person you want to marry?or you have to love them for who they are?

Here,s a little advice,i believe if you love someone,you love them for who they are.some of the things you dont like about them, can be changed with time but sometimes you have to learn to accept things the way they are since some people dont change.Before you tie the knot ask yourself these questions:
1.What do i expect from marriage?
2.what kind of a wife or husband will i be?
3.what do i expect from my partner?
4.what did i learned from my parents marriage?
Knowing yourself first and your partner second-is the key to a successful marriage. June 16 What a wonderful day Hmmmm,i woke up today feeling refreshed and grateful that i,m still here in good health,i know some of you take for granted some of these things but have you ever stopped for a moment to think that somebody went to sleep that same night but didn,t wake up.Every time i visit the park,i take time to smell the roses and the fresh breeze that hovers around me,Life is sweet!i was over my head when i met a friend i havn,t seen for a very very long time,shes going through divorce and was in a bad shape.Sometimes i don,t understand why bad things happen to good people,she did everything right but the love wasn,t there anymore. Or do people change with time.I remember something my husband used to ask me when i,m like"Baby i love you" and he will answer "are you going to love me fifty years from now".Back then i thought he was been critical but now i understand.We say a lot of things when we are in a good mood,a lot of promises and vows to each other but what happens when things dont go as planned, we lose hope and everyone around us suffers.i think love is for better or for worse,we stick to each other no matter what.i hate divorce cos i know what it can do to families.LORD help us and keep us focus! |
